A Life Less Ordinary - Rest In Peace Emily

After moving to rural Arizona, it was bittersweet that I got to see my Hetero-Life Mate Chris today. First time since July!

Sadly, it wasn't the best of circumstances. My friend Chris, he lost his wife this week. She had been struggling for a while and her ticket was finally punched.

I wrote this poem for him as much as I did for her. Emily was in love with our daughter Ronnie, she was really embracing being an "auntie".
